  It has been designed with three ergonomic zones, tested by users and shown to have the most comfortable fit in the hand. The dictation zone is optimised to minimise thumb movement and enables intuitive use. The buttons for the dictation functions take up the most space in the centre of the device.

  
  Function buttons that are needed less often are clearly placed above and below. The trackball uses a laser sensor that gives precise cursor movements. It has a built-in confirmation button for easy control of computer functions and can also be used to adjust the playback volume.
