The Philips Digital Pocket Memo DPM6000 takes dictation to a new level. Two microphones deliver very good recording quality for your dictations. Its robust stainless-steel design, together with its light weight, offers perfect ergonomics for working over longer periods. Power-saving functions and a high-capacity Li-ion battery provide very good battery life, and when charging is needed it is done easily via a standard USB connection.

DSS and MP3 recording
The DSS format was developed for use in digital dictation recorders, resulting in high compression and minimal loss of quality. With the DSS format you can also store extra information with the audio files, making it easier to organise and transcribe the dictated files. The MP3 format is the most common audio format for storing audio in general, and is also a de facto standard for transferring and playing back on digital audio players. -
