Integrated motion sensor
The SpeechMike Premium Air features the very latest technology and has a built-in motion sensor that lets it be controlled with hand movements. It detects when the device is placed on the desk and switches off the microphone; when it is picked up, the microphone is reactivated. Custom events can also be programmed, for example to pause and resume recording.

Lossless voice technology
The uncompressed wireless recording technology lets you move around freely while you dictate. You can easily move up to 10 metres away from your desk while your recording is transferred securely to the computer in the highest quality and without interruption. The pioneering technology ensures that every word is captured from the moment you press the record button.

Freely configurable buttons
You can freely configure the buttons on the microphone or use the pre-installed Secured Dragon Mode option. This option automatically configures the buttons and optimises them for use with Dragon speech recognition software. No additional drivers are required, making it easy to manage, even in virtual environments.

Wear-protected slide switch and push buttons
The SpeechMike Premium Air can be operated via a slide switch or with push buttons. The slide switch is ergonomically designed with a softly ribbed surface for smooth tactile feedback, and is both comfortable and intuitive to use. In addition, our engineers have carried out tests in which the slide switch was moved one million times - truly ensuring that the device has an extra-long service life.

Polished, antimicrobial housing
The housing of the SpeechMike Premium Air is made of antimicrobial synthetic material that is effective against a broad spectrum of micro-organisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and algae. Highly compatible
Customers can upgrade from their existing SpeechMike model without having to install any additional software. For software developers, this means that no changes need to be made and the existing SDK can be used. The SpeechMike Premium Air is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as virtual environments such as Citrix, VMware and Hyper-V. It can be configured with SpeechControl, the handy Philips tool for hardware management.
